The Vortex Pro Workstation with AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and NVIDIA RTX 5090 is a single-GPU AI workstation for teams running generative AI, local language models and machine learning on premises rather than paying for cloud GPU time.

The RTX 5090 provides 32GB of GDDR7 memory and NVIDIA Blackwell Tensor Cores, giving the headroom for Stable Diffusion and Flux image generation, running quantised language models locally and training or fine-tuning smaller models. Full CUDA support means it works with PyTorch, TensorFlow and the wider NVIDIA AI software stack.

A 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 64GB of DDR5 6000MHz memory handle data preparation, tokenisation and everything that runs alongside the GPU, so the graphics card is kept busy rather than waiting on the rest of the system.

Datasets and model checkpoints sit on a 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drive, with a 1TB Samsung 9100 PRO PCIe 5.0 drive for the operating system and tools. A 1200W Gold power supply and 360mm liquid cooling are sized for the RTX 5090 running at full load for long periods.
