Vortex Pro Workstation Threadripper PRO 9965WX: Dual GPU Render and AI Workstation

The Vortex Pro Workstation with AMD Threadripper PRO 9965WX and two NVIDIA RTX 5090 graphics cards is a dual-GPU system for GPU rendering and multi-GPU AI work, where performance scales with the number of cards.

Redshift, Octane and KeyShot GPU all scale well across multiple GPUs, so two RTX 5090s with 64GB of combined GDDR7 memory cut render times substantially compared with a single card. For AI, the pair can run larger language models split across both GPUs or run separate jobs on each card at the same time.

The 24-core Threadripper PRO 9965WX on the WRX90 platform provides the PCIe 5.0 lanes to run both GPUs at full bandwidth, with 128GB of DDR5 ECC registered memory and four free slots for expansion.

A Corsair 9000D full-tower chassis gives the two GPUs space and airflow, powered by a 2500W Platinum supply. Dual 10Gb Ethernet, a 1TB Samsung 9100 PRO system drive and a 4TB Samsung 990 PRO data drive complete the build.
